A Special Invitation to the Newton County "Ladies Retreat"

Commissioner Alana Sanders is pleased to invite you to her annual, nonpartisan Ladies Retreat. This year's event will be held at the Turner Lake Recreational Center in Covington, Georgia August 27, 2022, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. We are pleased to announce this is our second year holding this event, which consists of early childhood educators, partners, parents, youth ages 10-17, and allies. We would be honored to have you join us as our special guest to say a few words encouraging our young ladies and women in attendance.

Given your commitment to the community, we think this would be an excellent event for you to share your priorities and to learn firsthand about your stance regarding women's issues and the well-being of our youth within our state. The annual Ladies Retreat is an excellent occasion to reach families, educators, and community partners who believe in striving to ensure that all children in the state of Georgia have the opportunity to reach their full potential.

Current Candidates, invited to speak, are asked not to use this event as a campaign opportunity but to encourage/motivate the women in the room. Although it is acceptable to say you are running for office, we ask you and your staff to remember that we do not support or oppose any candidate.
